securetext.cloud is a free, encrypted online notepad that allows you to store text securely using zero-knowledge architecture. Your notes are encrypted on your device before being sent to our servers. We never have access to your plaintext data.
When you protect your notes with a password, all encryption and decryption happens entirely in your browser using AES-256 encryption. Your password is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. This means we cannot read, access, or recover your data — even if requested by a third party. If you lose your password, your data cannot be recovered.
We do not collect personal information. There are no user accounts, no registration, and no tracking cookies. The only data stored on our servers is the encrypted text you choose to save. We use Google Analytics solely for anonymous visitor counting (page views and general traffic metrics). No personal data is linked to these analytics.
securetext.cloud does not display advertisements. We use Google Analytics exclusively for aggregate visitor counting — we do not use it to track individual users, build profiles, or serve ads. We believe ads compromise privacy, and we are committed to keeping the service completely ad-free.
While we strive to maintain reliable service, we do not guarantee against data loss. Notes may be deleted or lost due to server maintenance, technical failures, or other unforeseen circumstances. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of any important information stored on securetext.cloud.
If you have any questions about this privacy policy or our service, you can reach us at contact@securetext.cloud.
